Heavy Tungsten Alloy Plates have high density, high strength, high hardness (commonly known as 3H alloy) and other comprehensive excellent properties as well as good ductility, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, playing an important role in weapon manufacturing. Then they are widely used in defense industry, aerospace and civil industry (such as electrical industry, drilling industry, etc.), high gravity tungsten alloy material has become a kind of military and civil alloy material.

Heavy Tungsten Alloy Plates Pictue:
Heavy Tungsten Alloy Plates are mainly divided into two series: W-Ni-Fe and W-Ni-Cu, and even W-Ni-Fe-Cu. In contrast, the W-Ni-Fe alloy has better mechanical properties and plays a huge role in the defense industry and various fields of the national economy. It is a very important new military material in the national defense industry and has been gradually extended to various civilian industries.
The tungsten content in tungsten heavy alloys varies from 90% to 98%, which is the reason for their high density (16.5 to 19.00 g/cc). Nickel, iron, and/or copper are used as a metal binder matrix to hold together the brittle tungsten particles, making the tungsten alloy ductile and easy to process. Nickel-iron is the most commonly used additive in a ratio of 7Ni:3Fe or 8Ni:2Fe (by weight).
